My name is Halisia and I’m a 29-year-old artist from Bigfork, MT. I was raised in the woods by a couple of young hippies who also have weird names and decided to pass along the curse to their children. I’m not even sure I’m pronouncing my middle name correctly.
I earned my bachelor's degree in fine arts and journalism from the University of Montana in Missoula, where I lived for seven years. I work primarily in watercolor and oil paints, digital illustration and installation. I focused on audio production in school.
I’ve worked at National Public Radio with All Things Considered since 2021.
